University social service in the development of research skills in undergraduate education students

Abstract

The research presents a very important issue for the training of the new generations of education professionals, related to the educational project that can be done from the university social service, as a substantive process of the university. This action has legal, socio-pedagogical and educational bases around the demands of the university educational curriculum. In the case of the bachelor's degree in Education that is studied at the University of Sonora, Mexico, a research project was developed, with an exit to a university social service project. 12 students of the 6th semester participated, and 3 professors of the career, as well as the Elementary School "Escuadrón 201" of the municipality of Caborca, Sonora. In one semester, students develop socio-educational and didactic activities organized in an educational project that conceives the school as a reference center that must facilitate the development of research skills in education to strengthen their professional preparation in a real scenario, corresponding to the development of the pedagogical process of university social service. The structure of the skills system is offered with its actions and operations, so that the student can operate with them in the research process that he faces in the process of social service through an educational project in a primary school. Direct work with the pedagogical process of the school enthrones the demands of the training process of the bachelor's degree and as a framework for university social service brings benefits in the development of research skills.
