TRAINING EXTENSION MANAGEMENT IN UNIVERSITIES. A LOOK.

Abstract

This paper reveals the epistemic foundations and dialectic of the formative extensionist management model in universities, as a complex and integrating system, characterized by the diversity of actors and socializing agents that are integrated into a constant interrelation.

The model provided, was built from the interpretation of the essential characteristics of the training process that is managed in the university and is based on the systematization of research experiences, which contributed to the theoretical construction essential to configure and explain the formative extensionist management in universities, from the organization of the processes that are inherent to them,  specifying a promotion to a new interpretative level of theoretical references, with a transcendent connotation aimed at the training of integral professionals for their performance in society. Therefore, the work qualifies the relevance of formative extension management in its double character: on the one hand, as a subsystem that interrelates with teaching and research to fulfill the mission of the university, and at the same time, as a system of greater order, structured in configurations that acquire the character of qualities and dimensions to promote the fulfillment of the function entrusted to it as a social and / or sociocultural process of Links between the university and society, to contribute to the sustainable development of the latter.
