Abstract

The comprehensive formation of the personality of boys, girls, adolescents and young people requires the use of music as a way for human improvement, participating in the formation of diverse audiences, developing in the field of mass musical education and specialized musical education as : educators, interpreters, promoters, creators, decision-makers and researchers, which require a broader and more updated theoretical, scientific, artistic, cultural, ethical, aesthetic, educational, pedagogical and didactic framework to develop their functions. To the above is added, in turn, the assessment of the contribution of Artistic Education in the process of cognitive, affective, communicative and sociocultural development of the individual, essential for their social insertion and transformation. In the province of Las Tunas, the needs to achieve a musical culture in the population as part of its comprehensive culture and the continuous improvement of teachers in the specialty and related areas are supported by a diagnostic study carried out in secondary, higher and higher education. for adults, led by the Art Department, which revealed deficiencies in the knowledge and mastery of the contemporary musical approach to music teaching. Such deficiencies were identified as one of the main causes that give rise to the existing limitations in the knowledge, mastery and appreciation of music and musical appreciation by the students of these teachings, which affects the achievement of the proposed training objectives. and, therefore, its comprehensive preparation.
