Communal project "cuenta conmigo" in Juraguá, municipality Yara of Granma province

Abstract

The intention of the community project is to contribute to the solution of the limitations in the quality of life of the "Juraguá" population in Yara Municipality, by the implementation of a system of activities. The results obtained were coherent with the objectives proposed. The previously mentioned community was characterized, the ties of cooperation, solidarity and organizational community integration were promoted and increased for the solution of social, environmental and economic problems. In addition to the design and implementation of a system of educational activities to promote the formation of lifestyles, an environmental recovery and conservation program was also developed and executed, in order to achieve sustainable, balanced and harmonious development. The transference of knowledge, technologies and technical assistance for the sustainable production of food that in an adequate mixture with popular knowledge contributed to food security and the family economy, in addition, the group of community leaders and authorities was formed and trained, taking advantage of local human resources.
