Potentialities of the University Extension to contribute to the environmental training of the graduate in Education Geography

Abstract

The present work aims to identify the potential offered by the university extension to contribute to the environmental training of the Graduate in Geography Education. The main theoretical references that allow to reveal the potentialities of community environmental education and university extension are addressed; In addition, research methods and techniques were applied that made it possible to verify the existence of shortcomings in the university extension process.
